Why is it that sometimes I have so much energy and excitement that I can get anything done and other times.....pffffft....deflated?
I have found myself in a cycle that needs instant gratification and that has lately led me to be on Facebook more than blogging. Yet, I really enjoy these conversations with you. It's like talking to a therapist without paying any money. And that is something we all need, right?
So right now I am working on realtor partnerships, trying to obtain some new staging jobs and working on a new venture - Cookie Lee jewelry. I am doing all of this because my son is starting college in the fall and it's not inexpensive to attend college these days. Marketing is a focal point, realtor visits, pushing to get meetings or appointments and then following up in a timely basis.
I don't know that I realized how much work goes into marketing yourself and your business. Why? I'm not sure that you can separate the two items - if it's your business then you are marketing yourself as well. You have to present an certain image, you need to be confident and perceived as a go-getter.
So I do my best to be positive, and I succeed about 90% of the time. I think that pretty darned good.
And the other 10%? That's why I write this blog.

Random Thoughts - Spring Fling
Some random thoughts for Spring....
Have you read this book yet? It is an amazing story and a great read. I could not put it down once I started it. I highly recommend it to everyone.
What is up with this crazy weather? Last year we had no summer, this year summer has started in April.
I am very optimistic that this spring/summer will only brings growth to my business ventures. I find that positive vibes are best!
I don't have as much time as I once did to read all the blogs and leave comments, but I am still reading them as I can. I really enjoy reading and sharing with you all.
I just finished a spring swap and am really looking forward to getting my package - I'll post it as soon as it gets here.
My DS is going to college this fall and I find myself counting the days I will still have him here with me. I am excited for him, but will miss him so much.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day......I know I will!
(Positive vibes only!!!!)

All Things Baseball..and life
I love Spring.
I love the smell of the grass and the flowers blooming. I love that the weather is truning warmer and the days are getting longer. I love being able to not wear a coat...or socks. Mostly, I love that BASEBALL season begins.

I love my Phillies. I have since I was a small girl and my Daddy would take me to see ball games and buy me hotdogs and cotton candy and would tell me all about the game. How on Sundays we would watch a game and eat our Sunday bagels. Baseball is about family and being with people you love.

Wow, there's a stretch. But for me it is so true. My earliest memories of my Dad are with baseball. My first date with my Hubby - Baseball. I have passed this love of baseball (and the Phillies) onto my darling son now. We can sit and watch games for hours. Outside. In the cold. or the wind. Even standing if we have too.
Don't care, that's how much we love baseball and our Phillies.

So for me...it's been baseball all my life. And I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
